It connects key wine-producing areas like Barolo, Barbaresco, and La Morra with the Langhe and Monferrato Hills, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

A bike tour through Piedmont offers breathtaking vineyard landscapes, winding roads through historic villages, and a deep dive into the Nebbiolo grape—the foundation of Barolo and Barbaresco wines. Riders will explore scenic routes such as Langhe Hills & Barolo Wine Region cycling route and Monferrato Loop.

Day 1 Highlights 

  • Start your bike tour in Piedmont from Borgomale located in the Province of Cuneo and 60 km from Turin.

Day 2 Highlights 

  • Discover Costigliole d’asti known for it’s red wine made from various grape varieties, Barbera, Dolcetto, Grignolino, Freisa and Brachetto.

Day 3 Highlights 

  • On this bike trip you you will will get to stroll through the street of Barbaresco home to some of Italy’s most prestigious Nebbiolo wines.

  • Taste from Barbaresco wines at the Enoteca communale of Barbaresco.

Day 4 Highlights 

  • Cycle to Barolo, where you can taste legendary Barolo DOCG wines and learn about their rich heritage.

  • Take a tour of Castello Falletti, a castle built in the 10th century to guard against the invading Saracens later inhabited by the Marchesi Falletti and now owed by the commune.

  • Enjoy the priviledge position of Montforte d’alba a town that has retained its original medieval layout, with narrow streets that quickly go up towards the Piazza dell’Antica Chiesa.

Day 5 Highlights 

  • Join a truffle hunter and his doing for a truffle hunting session.
