    Day 1 Highlights 

    For the next few days you will be riding on the D-Day landing beach route. It is a flat route (ideal for begininers) that follows the historical D-Day landing sites, museum and memorials along the Normandy coastline.

    • Pedal along Normandy’s most famous cycling route, tracing the historic paths of the allied landings on June 6, 1944 through key battle sites and memorials of the D-Day invasion.
    • Stop at the Batteries de Longues, a clifftop German artillery site, part of the Atlantic Wall defenses, where well-preserved bunkers overlook the English Channel.
    • Pedal to Arromanches, where the remains of the Mulberry Harbor still float offshore, a testament to the engineering ingenuity behind the Allied invasion.

          Day 2 Highlights 

          After tracing Normandy’s powerful WWII history, today’s ride leads you into the region’s medieval heart, where Bayeux’s centuries-old tapestry and cathedral reveal another layer of Normandy’s rich cultural identity.

          • Cycle through Normandy’s picturesque countryside, passing rolling fields and charming villages on the way to Bayeux, a beautifully preserved medieval town.
          • Discover the Bayeux Tapestry, a 70-meter-long masterpiece detailing the Norman conquest of England, one of the most important historical artifacts in France.
          • Explore Bayeux’s historic center, where cobbled streets, timber-framed houses, and the stunning Bayeux Cathedral create a timeless atmosphere.

              Day 3 Highlights 

              • Cycle to Omaha Beach, the most iconic D-Day landing site, where thousands of American soldiers stormed the shores in one of World War II’s most pivotal battles.
              • Ride to the Colleville-sur-Mer American Cemetery, a powerful memorial overlooking Omaha Beach, where over 9,000 American soldiers are honored in a solemn yet breathtaking setting.
              • Take a guided tour the cemetery and learn more about the events that occurred more than 60 years ago.
              • Pedal a short distance to Pointe du Hoc, a dramatic clifftop battlefield, where well-preserved German bunkers and bomb craters reveal the intensity of the D-Day assault.

                  Day 4 Highlights 

                  Leaving the historic streets of Bayeux, you pedal into Normandy’s peaceful countryside, where traditional farms, apple orchards, and charming villages offer a scenic contrast to the coastal battlefields.

                  Follow peaceful country roads through the Normandy bocage, a landscape of rolling green fields, apple orchards, and charming villages.

                  • Discover the Château de Balleroy, an architectural gem built in 1631 by François Mansart, and owned until 2019 by Malcom Forbes the founder of Forbes magazine.
                  • Inside the château, explore the Balloon Museum, dedicated to the history of hot air ballooning.

                        Day 5 Highlights 

                        From Normandy’s inland heart, your cycling journey transitions toward the legendary Mont-Saint-Michel and the Brittany coastline, where world-class oysters and dramatic sea views complete the region’s unique blend of history, culture, and gastronomy.

                        Starting from the Mont st Michel you head to Cancale on the velomaritime route. It is a flat route along the baie du Mont st Michel that uses a mix of roads inland and along the coast. Even though it is an easy route, it can become slightly challenging when the wind blows

                        • Uncover the Mont-Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where its magnificent abbey rises dramatically above the sea, creating one of France’s most iconic sights.
                        • Explore the medieval fortress, with narrow cobbled streets, stone walls, and a breathtaking cathedral perched at its peak.
                        • Walk across the causeway connecting Mont-Saint-Michel to the mainland, where the island’s historic ties to Normandy and Brittany enhance its cultural significance.
                        • Continue your ride along the coast to Cancale, a charming seaside village renowned for its world-class oysters.
