The Champagne Region, a UNESCO-listed wine destination, is world-famous for its prestigious sparkling wines, historic vineyards, and legendary Champagne houses.

  • Ride through the heart of Champagne, passing through renowned wine towns like Reims and Épernay, where centuries-old maisons produce the world’s finest bubbly.
  • Explore vineyard landscapes in Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, and the Marne Valley, where Grand Cru villages and rolling hills create a stunning backdrop for cycling.
  • Follow the Champagne Route, discovering the origins of Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, and Ruinart, as you pedal past historic cellars, scenic vineyards, and iconic estates.

Day 1 Highlights

The first 2 days of you bike tour take you on the champagne wine route. It is a route that connects the town of Reims in the north to the town of Troyes in the south passing by the town of Epernay and it’s prestigious champagne houses.

On day 1, you ride your bike on the cote des blancs route known for it grand cru vineyards. The route is a mix of of easy sections and short, steep climbs, providing a moderate challenge for cyclists.

  • Ride through Mesnil-sur-Oger and Avize, two Grand Cru villages producing some of the world’s most sought-after Blanc de Blancs Champagnes.
  • Pass by the Clos du Mesnil, Krug’s legendary walled vineyard, where ultra-rare single-vineyard Champagne is crafted with exceptional precision.
  • End the day in thew town of les Avizés, home to some of the finest Chardonnay-based Champagnes and to the wonderful champagne house of Mr Selosse.

        Day 2 Highlights

        On day 2, you head onto what is called the vallée de la marne route before testing yourself on the in the forested hills of the montagne de reims natural park.

        • Early morning, you get to visit Épernay, home to the legendary Avenue de Champagne, lined with neo classical villa that were rebuilt after WWII like Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouët, Laurent-Perrier, and Mercier.
        • Ride above 110 kilometers of underground Champagne cellars, where millions of bottles age beneath the city’s streets.
        • Cycle past Aÿ, a historic winemaking villagerenowned for its exceptional Pinot Noir vineyards and also for being the birthplace of rené lalique the famous glass maker.
        • For lunch you are arrive in Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne, where Dom Pérignon perfected sparkling wine. Don’t forget to go admire the view On the marne valley from the Belvedere Dom Perignon.
        • Later on that afternoon, pedal through Montagne de Reims, a Grand Cru vineyard region supplying Veuve Clicquot, Krug, and Bollinger, famous for its Pinot Noir grapes.

                    Day 3 Highlights

                    Transfer to the Alsace region and more specifically to the Bas Rhin department for the next few days of your bike tour.

                    • Start riding from the picturesque town of Rosheim, admiring its Romanesque church and colorful half-timbered buildings.

                    • Uncover Riquewhir, one of the most beautiful villages in France, with its half timbered houses and the famous Dodler tower (today the entrance door to the city) dating back to the 13 th century

                    Day 4 Highlights

                    • Take a break in Ribeauville, a  medieval town situated on the Route des vins d’alsace and dominated by the remainders of 3 chateaux, the chateaux le château st Ulrich, the château Girsberg and the château du Haut-Ribeaupierre.
                    •  Situated 10 km from colmar, stroll through Kayserberg the birthplace of albert Schweitzer, the peace nobel price in 1952.
                    • Challenge yourself with a ride up to Haut-Kœnigsbourg, a fortress dating back to the 12 th century standing high above the Alsace plain, offering incredible panoramic views.

                    Day 5 Highlights

                    • Stroll through Eguisheim, a circular medieval village voted as the most beautifuil village in France in 2013 and overflowing with gerniums flowers and numeros wine houses like wolfberger.
